If you believe a child is being abused
Call 911 if you believe a child is in immediate danger, if a crime has been committed against a child, is being committed against a child, or will likely be committed against a child.
In BC, the law says that anyone who suspects that a child is being abused or neglected must report it to a child welfare worker with the local Ministry of Children and Family Development office or Delegated Aboriginal Child and Family Services Agency. To make a report please call Centralized Screening at 1-800-663-9122 or 604-660-4927. This line is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
If you are a child or youth and would like to talk to someone, call the Helpline for Children at 310-1234 at any time of the day or night and you do not have to give your name.
If you feel you need to contact someone at The Treehouse, you may send us an email to our administrative/office account: firstname.lastname@example.org. This email account is not monitored at all times.
